2003 NRHA Futurity


Scott McCutcheon
and McMega (Mega Jac x BH Song and Dance) place 2nd in the first go and 5th in the second go on their way to making the Open Finals. They also were the Reserve Champions in the Open Pfizer Gelding Incentive. Altogether, McMega earned over $15,350 during the futurity.


Congratulations also go out to Sally Broten, who made the Non Pro finals on 2 Mega Jac offspring. She was 4th with Mega Jax (Mega Jac x Okie Dokie Dunnit), earning $15,817.
She also rode Moonstone Mega (Mega Jac x My Lucky Moonstone) to a 7th place finish for over $8,000 in finals and go round money.


Congrats also to Jack Covington who made the Intermediate Non Pro finals on Mo Mega (Mega Jac x Lenas Ruby Chex) to earn $1,137.

Mark Wagman also had a good show on Sneak Attack Jac (Mega Jac x Forget The Rest), placing 13th in the first go to earn $256.

 
2003 SWRHA Futurity and Show


Scott McCutcheon and McMega (Mega Jac x BH Song and Dance) tied for 5th in the Open Futurity.


Scott also rode Inwhizable to the Reserve Championship in the Open Ancillary class, marking a 147.

Congratulations to these other Mega Jac offspring:

Mo Mega and Jack Covington -> 2nd in the Prime Time and Int. Non Pro, and 3rd in the Non-Pro Futurities.

Jordan Larson and Mega Miss -> Open Futurity Finalists

Marc Wagman and Sneak Attack Jac -> 4th in the Non Pro Futurity

 
Any Whiz Way
Congrats to Steve Vaughn of Cave Creek, Arizona on the purchase of Any Whiz Way. Best of luck with one of our favorites!
 
2003 KRHA Sunflower Slide

Scott McCutcheon and Any Whiz Way continued their winning ways by capturing the Open Class Championship at the Topeka Sunflower Slide.


Congratulations also go to Jack Covington and Mo Mega.

Jack and Mo Mega were the Reserve Champions in the Non Pro Futurity at the Sunflower Slide. This nice gelding is also for sale, and you can learn more about him by clicking here.

 
2003 NCRHA Futurity

Congratulations to Sally Broten and Mega Ditto (sired by Mega Jac) on winning the Novice Horse Non-Pro. Mega Ditto is currently the 5th all time leading non pro money earner in the NRHA!

Congrats also to Sally Broten on winning the Non-Pro on her good mare, Rio Dun Good. Rio Dun Good is out of our mare Miss Dutari Rio.

Scott McCutcheon won the $2,000 added Open on Any Whiz Way, and then came right back in the arena to win the 50+entry Egg and Spoon Championship by loping around the arena with the spoon in his mouth!

 

Scott McCutcheon eggtastically celebrating his wins on Any Whiz Way in the $2,000 Open Class, as well as the highly coveted Egg + Spoon Championship.

 
Summer 2003
It has been a mega successful summer so far! In limited showing, Mega Sailor has earned his ROM in reining, as has Sasha Whiz. Additionally, Inwhizable has received his ROM and Superior in reining.
 
2003 APHA World Championship Show

Scott McCutcheon Reining Horses is proud to own some of the top broodmares in the country!

At the recent NRCHA Extravaganza, Sally Broten rode her good mare Rio Dun Good to win the Non Pro Derby with a 144 1/2. Rio Dun Good is out of our broodmare, Miss Dutari Rio.

At the recent 2003 APHA World Championship Show, several offspring produced by our broodmares won top honors.

One of our broodmares, Boots Painted Jewel, produced the 2003 Reserve World Champion Jr. Reining Horse.


Another of our broodmares, R Charlies Angel, produced the 2003 APHA Reserve World Champion in Jr. Cutting, and the 2003 World Champion in Amateur Cutting.

 
2003 NRHA Derby

Congratulations to all the Mega Jac offspring that made the finals at the Derby:

Mega Sailor and Scott McCutcheon finish tie 19th/20th in the Open Derby Finals.

Sally Broten and Mega Ditto tie for 8/9th in the Non Pro finals.

Jack Covington and Mi Mega tie for 10th in the Prime time Division, and also tie for 16th in the Intermediate Non Pro Derby.

Dragon Jac and Toru Mc Coy finish 16th in the Limited Open Derby finals.

 
Congratulations!
Congrats to Sandy Francis on her purchase of Nurse Heiry. So far this mare has been shown 2 times, winning 2 firsts and is leading the SouthArk Horse Show Association circuit. She is In foal to Marthas Mega Jac for 2004.
 
2003 NRBC

Congratulations to all the Mega Jac offspring that made the finals at this year's NRBC!
Below are a few of them:

Congrats to Sally Broten and Mega Ditto, who continued their winning trend, tying to win the first go and placing 9th in the finals; on their way to winning another $7,700. This gelding now has over $54,000 in Lifetime NRHA earnings!

Congrats also to Jack Covington and Mi Mega, who made the Non Pro finals, finishing 17th overall. They also finished 12th in the Intermediate finals, earning over $1,800 for their finals and go round placings.

Congrats to Doug Millholland who rode Mega Deal for owner Faye Zmek to an 11th place finish in the Intermediate Open Finals. They earned over $3,200 for their efforts.

Congrats also to Toru McCoy and Dragon Jac, who finished 15th in the Intermediate Open Finals and 15th in the Limited finals for a $1,100 payout.

Also congratulations go out to Cathy Woosley Luse and Megalena Jac, who finished 12th in the Limited Open Finals, and earned over $800 for their efforts.

 
2003 Gordyville

Congratulations to Sally Broten and Mega Ditto, sired by Mega Jac, on winning both the Gordyville Breeders Cup Non Pro and the Open to the World Non Pro. They won over $6,600 for their efforts.
